In 1972, Yam-Pak performed on stage and sang Di Nü Hua for the "618" flood disaster fundraising.
Di Nü Hua is a fictional Chinese story where the Princess and her lover took poison at the marriage night. The floods and landslides brought the highest death toll in the history of Hong Kong, it makes this opera more tragic.
Undercurrent
One day I saw the MV and I realized that it was the song of a movie. At the beginning of the song, a man was asked he was doing on September 16, 1984. (Sino-British Joint Declaration was signed)
He said, "Strange! Suddenly, you see something disappeared but there is something more. As if you wake up, there is a thief who stole a lot of your things, but also left something you don’t need."
