When it comes to the third work of Documentation on the boundary, I began to ponder that boundary and space are not merely geographical concepts, but more about people. I often walk across the border between two places, and I found that there are classmates living such a life. I started to record them. They have come to Hong Kong from mainland China or come to Hong Kong following their parents. Although they have different backgrounds, they are similar.

For months I have traveled with them the places where they grew up, listened to their views on the region and the boundary, or stayed with them when they are doing artwork. Finally, I wrote down my memory of them and invited them to read it to me. I think the so-called identity is what others perceive them.
